SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

CAREA prides itself on being involved in the community.  We are actively involved in several projects throughout the year aimed at helping those in need in the Central Alberta area. Activities include the Adopt-A-Family program during the Christmas season as well as various other activities that raise funds in support of a charity through donations over the year.

We are also involved with the ACCA Co-operative Youth Program through sponsorship of two young people, one male and one female, in their summer camp adventure.  Information on this program can be obtained by contacting our office or visiting CAREA Scholarship Form.  

CAREA also provides two scholarships for $1,000 each. These are presented yearly to the top female and male applicants, as chosen by a panel.  For more information regarding our scholarship program please view our CAREA Donation Request Form or contact our office. CAREA strives to involve itself and its staff in the local community as well as the surrounding area.  To help inform our members as well as the citizens of Central Alberta we have developed a Guidelines for CAREA Donations and a CAREA Donation Request Form  that details how we at CAREA support our community and the process for requesting a sponsorship or donation.
