RURAL COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL

When developing a shop, production facility, or other commercial enterprise in a rural area serviced by CAREA, you can take advantage of membership in the Rural Electrification Association. CAREA staff will work with you to assess your needs, review the anticipated load profile, provide cost estimates, an engineering plan, and provide for the construction and installation from start to finish. As a self-operating REA, CAREA is equipped to handle your distribution requirements from start to finish.

Rural Oil & Gas

If you are a landowner or oil & gas company planning to drill within the CAREA service area, the CAREA staff can bring that extensive rural knowledge to provide a complete package in support of your installation and operation.

As rural experts, CAREA will work with the landowner (who would currently be a member) to address any concerns and mitigate installation disturbances. CAREA can facilitate the permitting and approval processes, assess the actual needs, review the anticipated load profile, and produce engineering plans to support those energy needs and ensure compatibility with the CAREA distribution system.
